Who We Are

About Big Bads Wolf

A global literacy movement driven by the belief that books should be accessible, affordable, and cherished by all.

Founding warehouse storage of books
The Origin

Born from a Passion for Universal Literacy

Big Bads Wolf was founded in 2009 with a simple, audacious dream: to eradicate illiteracy by making brand-new, English-language books available at rock-bottom prices. What began as a modest warehouse clearance sale quickly transformed into an international literary phenomenon.

Every year, millions of unsold and uncirculated books produced by world-renowned publishers risk destruction or neglect. We intervene by partnering directly with publishing leaders, curating immense inventories of pristine fiction, non-fiction, and children's titles, and shipping them straight to exhibition halls around the globe.

Today, our traveling fairs draw hundreds of thousands of book lovers per city. By removing financial barriers to reading, we empower families to build home libraries, inspire young readers, and foster lifelong knowledge exploration.
